About Your Instructor
Melissa Biscardi - MSc, RN, DOMP
Melissa is a registered nurse, pursuing her PhD at the University of Toronto. Melissa has a private practice in Toronto, Canada, where her main focus is manual osteopathic and research and practice focuses on concussion rehabilitation.
Her research has been published and presented in medical journals and she has co-authored two chapters on brain injury in rehabilitation textbooks. She has been trained by the Carrick Institute and uses applied neurology and an evidence-based approach to ensure the best outcomes. You can listen to her as the current host of the Brainiac podcast!
