Melissa Biscardi - MSc, RN, DOMP
Melissa is a registered nurse and manual osteopathic practitioner whose research and practice focuses on concussion rehabilitation. She is also the current podcast host of the Brainiac podcast! Her research has been published and presented in medical journals and she has co-authored two chapters on brain injury in rehabilitation textbooks. She has been trained by the Carrick Institute and uses applied neurology and an evidence-based approach to ensure the best outcomes. She has a private practice in Toronto Canada and consults with patients world-wide. Melissa is a Brainiac and is pursuing her PhD at the University of Toronto, evaluating oculomotor interventions for adults post concussion.
Sara Pukal- BSc, M.MOSc
Sara is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner (OMP) and wellness coach. She completed her education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Prior to starting osteopathy, Sara completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto where she majored in Global Health, Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, and minored in Buddhist Psychology. Sara is passionate about understanding chronic pain and the mind-body connection, this lead her to look for a hands-on profession where she could make a direct impact with others on their quality of life. Additional training through Upledger Institute has further advanced her skills and ability to treat acute and chronic patients of varying complexities. Sara maintains a private practice in Stratford Ontario.
