What you can expect
Anatomy
There is so much gold in the cervical spine! We will focus on proprioception and delve into the various proprioceptive receptors, including muscle spindles and Golgi tendon organs.
Assessment
This doesn't need to be fancy....we will go over no, low and high tech ways to assess cervical proprioception and also review live case studies of what errors look like when tracked!
Effective Treatment
Research backed strategies to improve proprioception based on join position errors, posture compromise and cervical-ocular-vestibular congruence.
Homework
Fun exercises, innovative interventions and tried and true ELDOAs, you'll leave with actionable insights to enhance your treatment plans.

Hi, I'm Melissa
I am Registered Nurse and Manual Osteopathic Practitioner whose clinical practice and research focuses on concussion rehabilitation. I've mentored hundreds of clinicians through my workshops and my larger program the ‘Concussion Tool Kit.’
I am the creator of the Brain Tool Kit... along with my superstar brother.... a fun app for clinicians and patients to leverage for assessment and rehabilitation exercises. I am currently completing her PhD at the University of Toronto Acquired Brain Injury Lab.
